They arrived in Maldives on 18 August at 10:00pm via a private get. Along with their two children, the couple will be spending their ten days holiday at Waldorf Astoria Maldives. As the world is battling with Covid-19 pandemic, Maldives is at a recovery phase, allowing the destination to re-open its borders for tourists since 15th July 2020. A steady growth in tourist arrivals is seen since the opening of the borders, thanks to the safety measures taken by Maldives authorities.
Colombian pop singer Shakira, 42, has been in a relationship with Barcelona football star Gerard Pique, 32, for over a decade. They met for the first time during the music video shoot of her hit single Waka Waka, the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. They began dating the following year and have two sons, Milan, six and Sasha, four.
